October 23 2006, At Freddy’s House had its debut in the first mp3
compilation of contemporary portuguese music.
Acorda! Nova Música Portuguesa em
mp3, a project designed by Henrique Amaro, Cobra
Discos, Antena3 and Creative, assembled 60 bands and 120 songs in the small circle
of one CD.
Bringing attention to new bands and composers and crossing the full
spectrum of music genres, the project intended to greet the public with songs
and sounds being created outside the margins of mainstream production. 7 hours
of music... from rock to hip hop.
The proceeds from the sales went to the Paediatric Services
of Lisbon’s Portuguese Oncology Institute. Buy it Here
